Pastor Sean Calhoun Sr.

Elder Sean Calhoun, Sr., is the pastor of Greater Somerville Church Of God In Christ in the city of Somerville, TN where he was appointed in February 2013. Prior to pastoring Greater Somerville, he was a faithful member of Greater Community Temple in Memphis, TN for 14 years where he served in several capacities: Co-Coordinator of Hospital/Visitation Care, Coordinator of Prison Ministry, Dean of the College of Elders & Ministers, and is a national Adjutant for the Churches of God in Christ.

He is also very active in the community, speaking at middle and high school ceremonies and career days. Elder Calhoun is a true servant and a blessing to the body of Christ, one who believes that honoring God means honoring the leaders He has placed over you. Even with his hectic schedule and his new elevation as pastor, he continues to serve his leader, Bishop Brandon B. Porter.

Pastor Calhoun is a successful business owner, a devoted husband to La’Kesha Ford Calhoun and is the proud father of three adult children, one daughter-in-love, and one grandson.
